Carr in video-link court appearance

A woman charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice following the disappearance of schoolgirls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman was today due to appear in a British court via a live prison video link.

Maxine Carr, 25, of Soham, Cambridgeshire, was due to appear before Judge Nicholas Coleman at a special sitting of Peterborough Crown Court in Cambridgeshire.
