Barrichello leads Italian GP
Rubens Barrichello led the Italian Grand Prix after 40 laps with Michael Schumacher in second place.
But there was disaster for Schumacher shortly after as he ground to a virtual standstill with apparent brake problems.
Schumacher had not retired for more than a year but that seemed likely as his car let him down.
Olivier Panis was third, Eddie Irvine fourth, Jarno Trulli fifth and Jenson Button sixth.
