Montgomery smashes sprint world record

Tim Montgomery smashed the world 100 metres record as he beat Britain’s Dwain Chambers in the IAAF Grand Prix final in Paris.

Chambers was fastest out of the blocks but he was no match for the brilliant pace which Montgomery produced over the last 50 metres.
