Villeneuve staying put

Jacques Villeneuve has rubbished rumours he is poised to return to CART racing next year - although there has also been no offer of a new deal from BAR.

Villeneuve, who won the CART title in 1995 before making the switch to Formula One, had been linked with an end-of-season move to Forsythe Racing in an all-Canadian line-up boasting Paul Tracy and Alex Tagliani.
