Shinkins comes fourth in 400m heat

Ireland’s Karen Shinkins has finished fourth in her heat of the women’s 400m at the European Championships in Munich.

Russia’s Oleysa Zykina won the race in 50.47 seconds.

Shinkins was running in second, but was beaten on the line by German Rockmeier and Italian Perpoli.
