Northern Ireland swimmer Andrew Bree has set a new Irish 200-metres breaststroke record at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester today.

The 21-year-old from Newtownards in County Down beat Gary O’Toole’s 13-year record by over half a second, swimming in a time of 2 minutes 15.25 seconds.
