Super start for Schumacher

Michael Schumacher continued his perfect weekend as he made the ideal start to the German Grand Prix.

The newly-crowned five-times world champion, on pole for the first time in front of his home crowd at Hockenheim, was cleanly away and by the end of the first lap was 1.6 seconds clear of brother Ralf in the Williams-BMW.
