Irish swimmers named for forthcoming events

A strong line up of Irish swimmers has been announced for two forthcoming events.

Sydney Olympian Andrew Bree leads the charges for this week's Comonwealth Games.

Bree goes in the 200 meters.

Chantal Gibeny is expected to lead the Irish assault on the European championships in Berlin

later in the month.

She will be joined by and Cork's Lee Kelleher, Mullingar's Deirdre Hughes, Sinead Tyrrell, Muiris Ó Riada, Willie Carey, Stephen Manley, Donal O'Neill and Neil Cameron.
