Sonia continues winning streak

Sonia O'Sullivan has continued her winnings at the National Championships at the Morton Stadium.

O'Sullivan held her form and claimed victory in the 800m in a time of 2 minutes 4.89 seconds.

Second place was claimed by Kelly McNeese and third by Maria Lynch.

Sonia is due now to head into the 5,000 metres next at the stadium in Santry.

She is due to enter the final of the race within the next hour. Meanwhile in the men's races, Mark Carroll will also be in the 5,000 metres championships.
