Schumacher closes on fifth crown

Michael Schumacher moved within one race of a record-equalling fifth drivers’ crown after scoring the 60th victory of his career in a rain-affected British Grand Prix at Silverstone today.

The German triumphed by 14.5 seconds from team-mate Rubens Barrichello, who finished second despite starting the race from the back of the grid after his Ferrari stalled at the start of the parade lap.
