Irvine blames the weather

Eddie Irvine blamed some typical Silverstone weather after he was left wondering whether he can catapult up the grid at this weekend’s British Grand Prix.

The eagerly-awaited debut of Irvine’s heavily-revised Jaguar Racing car turned into a wash-out as the rain pelted down on today’s practice sessions for Sunday’s race.
