I will fight for Leeds’ place, says Irish star Keane
SUNDERLAND’S hopes of capturing £9m-rated Irish striker Robbie Keane have been dealt a major blow after the Leeds frontman vowed to stay at Elland Road and fight for his place.
The Black Cats were yesterday given permission to speak to him after agreeing an undisclosed fee with the Yorkshire club, and were hopeful of tying up a deal within a matter of days.
