Schumacher dominates final practice
Michael Schumacher looks set to score pole position at the European Grand Prix after dominating final practice at the Nurburgring.
The four-time world champion finished over half-a-second ahead of his rivals.
McLaren's Kimi Raikkonen was his closest challenger with Ferrari's Rubens Barrichello third quickest.
Barrichello was almost 0.7 secs slower than his team leader as he finished just ahead of Germany's Nick Heidfeld in the Ferrari-powered Sauber.
Ralf Schumacher clocked the fifth fastest time in his Williams-BMW - but over a second off the pace - from Mika Salo who was a promising sixth for Toyota Racing.
McLaren's David Coulthard wound-up seventh fastest in his McLaren as he seeks a decent qualifying slot with which to looks to maintain his mid-season form.
Juan Pablo Montoya was eighth fastest while Jenson Button finished in 10th spot just behind team-mate Jarno Trulli.
Toyota's Allan McNish was 12th while Eddie Irvine, who could be replaced or joined by Button at Jaguar, was 15th.
