Sonia O'Sullivan wins 10,000m

Sonia O’Sullivan secured an easy victory in the 10,000 metres at the Commonwealth Trials event in Manchester today.

The Cork-born athlete was part of a top-class field which included a former Olympic silver medallist but the two-time mother destroyed her opponents with a time of 31 minutes and 33.20 seconds.
