More points for Jordan in Canada

Michael Schumacher has won yet another Grand Prix as he continues his apparently unstoppable march towards yet another Drivers Championship.

Schumacher’s main rival for the title, Juan Pablo Montoya looked set to beat Schumacher after the last round of pit stops as he was constantly gaining on the German driver after each lap but an engine failure forced the Columbian out of the race and handed all ten points to Schumacher.

David Coulthard finished in second with Rubens Barrichello and Kimi Rakkonen in third and fourth.

It was a good Grand Prix for the Jordan team as Giancarlo Fisichella finished in the points for the second successive race while his team mate Takuma Sato also finished the race.

Fisichella finished in fifth spot ahead of Jarno Trulli while Sato was tenth.

It was a disappointing race for Eddie Irvine who was forced to retire with technical difficulties.
