Life is Swede again for Sven as Beckham returns to training

DAVID BECKHAM reassured Sven-Goran Eriksson he will be ready to face Sweden in England’s opening World Cup game as he returned to full training for the first time yesterday.

Eriksson believes Beckham’s huge determination to recover from his broken foot could have made the difference in putting him back on course to lead his country into the tournament.
