Lions loom into view

CAMEROON have moved firmly in focus for Ireland after Mick McCarthy brought back a first-hand eye-witness account of their 2-2 draw with England in a challenge game in Chiba on Sunday.

McCarthy spoke in glowing terms about the ability of Cameroon at training yesterday and said their performance against England, even allowing for the fact it was a friendly match, had confirmed for him that Ireland’s opening match would be the toughest they would face.
