McCarthy won't rule out Keane return

Mick McCarthy has left the door open for Roy Keane to return to the Republic of Ireland squad before their opening World Cup match against Cameroon on Saturday.

The Republic manager has not heard from his former skipper but hinted that just one telephone call from Keane apologising for the row could see the Corkman back in the squad.
