Saudi Arabia: Nawaf Al Temyat

Nawaf Al Temyat is probably the jewel in Saudi Arabia's World Cup squad.

He is rapidly approaching his 50th international cap after making his debut just prior to the last Finals in France.

And his style reminds many of Saeed Owairan, the man who ripped apart Belgium's defence in the 1994 World Cup to score a sensational goal for the Saudis

Al Temyat was on top of his game last year - picking up the Asian Player of the Year award - but missed the entire qualifying campaign after injuring his knee.

However, he has returned to full fitness and is relishing the chance to play in the world's biggest tournament.
