Freeman returns to Europe

Cathy Freeman is set to make her first appearance in Europe for almost two years.

She will run at the Aqua-Pura Commonwealth Trials in Manchester next month.

The Australian 400 metres Olympic champion will make a guest appearance in the 200m, avoiding a head-to-head with British hopeful Katharine Merry.
