Doherty loses thrilling quarter-final
Ken Doherty is out of the Embassy World Snooker Championships after a thrilling quarter-final at the Crucible .
The Dubliner lost 13-12 to seven-times champion Stephen Hendry.
The pair started this afternoon's session with eight frames apiece.
Doherty stole ahead twice but Hendry carved out a 12-11 lead.
Doherty fought back bravely to win the next frame, but the Scotsman won the deciding frame 91-0.
