Snooker: Lee wins battle of walking wounded

Chris Small was not sharp enough to knock Stephen Lee out of the Embassy World Championship today - despite an injection with a ten-inch needle which allowed him to play.

Edinburgh’s 28-year-old Small is suffering from a spinal disease and took a cortisone jab last Friday to cope with the pain in his neck and back.
