Boxing: Brewer tells Calzaghe he’ll knock him out

Charles Brewer arrived in Wales to challenge WBO super-middleweight king Joe Calzaghe at Cardiff International Arena on Saturday vowing to go for a knockout rather than risk losing a home town decision.

The 31-year-old from the fight hotbed of Philadelphia in the United States lost his IBF belt to Sven Ottke in Germany in 1998 in a upset which has left its scars.
