Boxing: Lewis in confident mood over Tyson fight

Lennox Lewis is confident he can enhance his reputation as world heavyweight champion by beating Mike Tyson on June 8.

The two fighters are set to meet in a €57m at the Pyramid Arena in Memphis.

"Lewis-Tyson is the match-up the whole world has been waiting for," said Lewis.

"I am confident I will cement my legacy when I dispose of Tyson on June 8."

Lewis' business manager Adrian Ogun added: "Lennox believes that it is his destiny to meet with Mike Tyson in the ring and pushed very hard for the deal to be made despite the press conference debacle in January."

Tyson was equally confident, in spite of bookmakers making Lewis the favourite to win the fight.

"On June 8, I guarantee I will knock Lewis out and regain my heavyweight championship," said Tyson.
