Snooker: Stevens sinks O’Sullivan

Matthew Stevens turned party pooper for the second time in three days by knocking another crowd favourite out of the Citywest Irish Masters in Dublin tonight.

Stevens, responsible for Jimmy White’s exit earlier in the week, defeated defending champion Ronnie O’Sullivan 6-2 to reach the semi-finals.
