F1: Jordan Honda secure sponsorship deal
Liqui Moly has agreed a two-year sponsorship of DHL Jordan Honda, commencing at this
weekend’s second round of the 2002 Formula One World Championship in Malaysia.
Based in Ulm, Germany, Liqui Moly manufactures motor oil, greases, fuel and oil additives, and car care products.
This announcement brings Liqui Moly back to Formula One after a nine-year absence.
Peter Baumann, Marketing Director of Liqui Moly said: "We are very happy to be back in Formula One and to have found a partner like the Jordan team.
Eddie Jordan, Chief Executive of Jordan Grand Prix said: "I am delighted they chose to return to Formula One with us and I hope we achieve a successful partnership both on and off the track."
Liqui Moly’s branding will appear on the Jordan Honda EJ12s and the sponsorship includes the provision of a range of products which the team will use during the season.
