Euro 2008 bid gets stg£320,000 boost

A company involved in bringing sports events to Britain has given a stg£320,000 (€515,300) grant to the joint Irish-Scottish bid to host the European Championships in 2008.

The UK Sport grant will come from funds raised by the British lottery.
