Karen Shinkins continued her excellent indoor form this season by winning bronze in the 400 metres at the European Indoor Championships in Vienna this afternoon.

Shinkins narrowly missed out on the silver medal. Germany’s Claudia Marx pipped her for second by two-hundredths of a second.
