Boxing: Lewis wins court battle

Lennox Lewis has been awarded $8m after a New York court found in his favour against former promoter Panos Eliades.

Eliades had been suing Britain's WBC and IBF world heavyweight champion for breach of contract.

After two days of deliberations the jury found in favour of Lewis, who was counter-suing the promoter.

"It has been a very long trial and I am satisfied that justice has been done," said Lewis. "I can now concentrate on my boxing career."
