Burger King Limerick have won the ESB National Cup for the first ever time today, producing a fine performance to defeat SX3 Star at the National Basketball Arena in Tallaght.

Limerick overcame Star, who had surprisingly defeated Waterford Crystal in yesterday’s semi-final, by 89 to 83.
