Squash: Perry suffers early exit

Irish national squash champion Madeline Perry has become an early casualty at the Southport Women's Open in Connecticut, USA.

Perry, who beat Louise Finnegan in December to claim her fourth national title, was seeded seventh in the American tournament but suffered a surprise defeat to Egypt's OA Kawy 9-2, 9-6, 9-1.
