Darts: Phil Taylor wins 10th world title
Phil Taylor has notched up a 10th world title after beating Peter Manley 7-0 in the final of the Skol World Championship in Purfleet yesterday.
Taylor has been unbeatable all week, dropping just two sets on his way to the final and setting the highest three-dart average in world championship history with a 111.21 in his second-round win over Shayne Burgess.
Taylor won £50,000 for the victory and another £1,000 for the highest checkout of the competition – a 167 against Burgess.
