Motorsport: Lucey is Maxsport Munster Autocross Champion

The Munster Maxsport Autocross Championship was won by 24-year-old Ballyvourney driver, Gerard Lucey, who finished the Cork Autocross in Grancore near Clonakilty in second place.

His championship rival, Richard Percy from Nenagh, was fourth (third in championship terms) on the final event and lost the series by a point to the Ballyvourney driver.
