Triple Olympic gold medallist Matthew Pinsent has been offered a seat on the International Olympic Committee’s Athletes’ Commission.

Triple Olympic gold medallist Matthew Pinsent has been offered a seat on the International Olympic Committee’s Athletes’ Commission.

The British rower, who narrowly lost out on election to the committee prior to the Sydney Games last year, has been invited to take up the seat on the 19-strong body vacated by Jan Zelezny.
