Basketball: Munster Clash for Cup Semi

The draw for the semi-final games of the 2002 ESB Cup took place in the National Basketball Arena today.

None of the semi-finalists have taken the Cup title in the past so there will be four hungry teams in the National Basketball Arena in January 2002.

Waterford Crystal will take up their position on Friday 25th January against Sx3 Star. Star have been semi-finalists and finalists often in the past - last semi-final was in 1999 when they lost by 1pt to Demons.

Frosties Tigers Tralee take on Burger King Limerick in an all Munster clash on Saturday, January 26 to round off a great days basketball. The Irish Senior Men are in action against Bosnia earlier that day.
