Irish players are enjoying mixed fortunes in Round 2 of the UK Championship, which will be completed at York tomorrow.

Before today's break Fergal O'Brien led Tony Drago 6-2 while compatriot Michael Judge is trailing 5-3 to Peter Ebdon. Ken Doherty begins his Round 2 clash tomorrow.

Current state of play is:

Rd 2, 2:30pm: S Lee (Eng) v A Hamilton (Eng) (Lee leads 5-3), S Hendry (Sco) v D Henry (Sco) (level at 4-4), P Ebdon (Eng) v M Judge (Irl) (Ebdon leads 5-3), F O’Brien (Irl) v T Drago (Mlt) (O’Brien leads 6-2).
