Boxing: Rahman and Lewis bout continues
Hasim Rahman has fired a parting shot in his war of words with Lennox Lewis, 12 days after losing his rematch with Britain’s three-time Heavyweight World Champion.
Lewis regained his WBC, IBF and IBO titles when avenging March’s fifth-round loss in South Africa with a fourth-round knockout in Las Vegas.
The pair had become embroiled in a bitter feud in between bouts, regularly trading insults and even brawling out of the ring during a TV chat show.
Rahman insists he was prepared to end the dispute despite his defeat on November 17, but claims that Lewis would not accept a post-fight handshake.
