Soccer: McCarthy travels to Iran

The Republic of Ireland soccer team may have to travel to Iran for their World Cup Qualifier in November, as the war in neighbouring Afghanistan continues.

Mick McCarthy will fly to the Iranian Capital, Tehran, on Wednesday to watch his next opponents in action following last night's results in the Asian qualifying groups.
