Darts: Painter faces 'the Power'

Nine-time world champion Phil 'The Power' Taylor faces a stern test in the opening round of the Paddy Power World Grand Prix.

Taylor, seeded third for the Dublin event, was today drawn against 34-year-old Englishman Kevin Painter in the first round later this month.

Number one seed Peter Manly will take on last year’s European Cup winner Martin Adams while Alan Warriner, the second seed, meets Andy Jenkins and Rod Harrington, seeded fourth, plays Roland Scholten.
