Teams in the British Superbike Championship will benefit from a cash injection of more than £1m over the next two seasons.

In order to maintain the success of the series, British Motorsport Promoters will pump over £1m - to be paid direct to 16 two-rider teams - into the championship over the 2002 and 2003 campaigns.
