Black Cat Racing/Galaxy Marketing have signed Dungannon's Kieran Dynes to drive in the ARCA/REMAX Stock Car series at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Thursday, October 4, the talented Irishman being the first European driver to compete in both ARCA and Busch NASCAR series.

Black Cat Racing in association with the #77 Busch Grand National crew will field a Chevrolet Monte Carlo for Dynes for the Charlotte race which supports the NASCAR Winston Cup race that weekend.

As a mark of respect for victims of the recent attacks in the USA, Dynes' Chevy will be uniquely liveried in the 'Stars and Stripes' at Charlotte during the North Carolina ARCA/REMAX series race.

Dynes knows the Charlotte oval well, having previously lapped the track at speeds in excess of 180mph, and is delighted to be going back there.

He said: "I'm really looking forward to getting back behind the wheel again and I'm very pleased Black Cat Racing is giving me the chance to prove myself against America's leading ARCA competition in front of a bumper 100,000 plus NASCAR fans.

"A good finish could open several doors for next year, particularly as the intention is to race in Daytona next February and if things turn out well there may be the opportunity to test a Winston Cup car.

This is a new team and realistically the team owners &and I would be very happy with a top 15 placing."
