Athletics: Lewis admits Worlds withdrawal down to Sydney celebrations

Denise Lewis today admitted that spending too much time celebrating her Olympic gold medal played a part in her being forced to pull out of the world championships in Canada.

The Olympic heptathlon champion has told team bosses that she delayed her return to training too long after her Games triumph in Sydney last September.
