Formula One: Prost and Jordan at odds over Jean Alesi

Alain Prost has vowed to fight Eddie Jordan for the services of Formula One driver Jean Alesi.

Jordan has held discussions with Prost about the possibility of Alesi changing teams as a replacement for Heinz-Harald Frentzen, whom Jordan sacked following a row in the wake of the British Grand Prix.

Test driver Ricardo Zonta replaced Frentzen in last weekend's German Grand Prix, but following his poor performance, rumours emerged that Jordan was planning to poach Alesi from Prost for the remaining five races of this season.
