Soccer: Stadium disaster probe recommends charges against police

A commission of inquiry has recommended that charges be brought against the police in Ghana over the deaths of 126 people in Africa's worst ever soccer disaster.

The inquiry panel recommended that police officers who fired tear gas into the crowds in an attempt to quell riots should be prosecuted for reckless use of firearms.
