Tour de France: Ivanov seals stage win

Sergei Ivanov won the ninth stage of the Tour de France from Pontarlier to Aix-le-Bains today, while Credit Agricole’s Stuart O’Grady held on to the yellow jersey.

The Fassa Bortolo rider pipped Brad McGee of Francaise des Jeux and Euskatel-Euskadi’s David Etxeberria after the trio had made an ambitious break just 36 kilometres into the 185km stage.
