The British Grand Prix will take place today at Silverstone with Michael Schumacher

looking set to continue his dominance of this year's Drivers Championship.

Schumacher once again captured pole position on the starting grid by outpacing

his rivals at yesterday's qualifying session.

The McLaren of Mika Hakkinen is in second spot with David Coulthard, Schumacher's main opponent for this year's title, in third place.

The Jordans of Jarno Trulli and Heinz-Harald Frentzen are in fourth and

fifth place respectively on the grid of their home track, one of their best

qualifying performances of the season.

The Ferrari of Rubens Barrichello is the sixth place starter on the grid. Eddie Irvine endured a frustrating qualifying session in his Jaguar and he eventually ended up in fifteenth place on the grid.
