Formula 1: Schumacher takes Silverstone pole

Ferrari's Michael Schumacher has taken pole position for the British Grand Prix from Mika Hakkinen and David Coulthard at Silverstone.

Jordan's Jarno Trulli and Heinz-Harald Frentzen start in fourth and fifth place respectively while Reuben Barrichello begins the race in sixth position.
