Formula 1: Radical Silverstone plan snubbed

Eddie Irvine and David Coulthard have both dismissed the radical plan to improve overtaking at Silverstone by building a banked curve.

The parabolic curve at Club Corner is expected to be in use for the 2003 British Grand Prix as part of a £45m upgrade of the Northamptonshire track.
