Frenchman Christophe Moreau delighted the home supporters by winning the Tour de France prologue in Dunkirk.

The 29-year-old Festina rider finished in nine minutes 20 seconds, three seconds ahead of second-placed Igor Gonzalez de Galdeano of ONCE.
