Wimbledon: Venus Williams eases into last-16

Second seed Venus Williams has secured a place in the fourth round of this year's Wimbledon competition after beating 29th seeded Russian Elena Likhovtseva in straight sets this evening.

The American won comfortably, 6-2, 6-2. Elsewhere, ninth seed Natalie Tauziat beat unseeded Iroda Tulyaganova of Uzbekistan 6-0, 6-3 to also win a place in the last-16.
